St. Thomas opened up a 10-0 lead on Sanborn led by Maddie Predaris with three hits including a double and triple, Catherine Torr had two hits and three RBI's while Jill Cortez doubled and Madison Harris had a hit and two sacrifice bunts. Morgan Atwell and Anna Gasper each walked twice. Olivia Graziano scored a run and Sophia Nadeau scored two runs. Cortez pitched six shutout innings allowing only 2 hits while striking out 12. Torr had an outstanding defensive game at second. St. Thomas (2-0) plays at home Wednesday against John Stark while Sanborn (0-3) is home Wednesday versus Merrimack Valley.
