Hello both new and returning players: 

 Fall sports will be here before you know it!  Volleyball officially starts Monday August 13^th!!  We currently have about 40 players signed up and only have one court.  We will split up players to maximize court time during tryouts very similar to years past: 

 1.   If you are an incoming Freshman who has NOT played organized volleyball before - you should report to session 1 (a skills session) which takes place Monday through Thursday from 2-4pm.  Freshman - please report to only ONE session. 

2. If you are an incoming Freshman, with organized volleyball experience, or a Sophomore (that did not play on Varsity last year) - you will report to season 2 of tryouts which is Monday through Thursday 4-6pm.   Freshman - please report to only ONE session.  

3.  If you are a Senior, Junior, or played on Varsity last year - you will report to session 3 taking place Monday through Thursday from 6-8 pm. 

-- Players are expected to attend all tryouts.  If players have a conflict with attending a session, the player MUST notify the coaching staff in advance.  It may be possible to arrange for a make-up session. 

 --Players may be asked to switch sessions during the week and teams will be selected by the end of the week of tryouts.

-- Regular team practices will begin Friday, August 17th.  Practice times and the game schedule will be posted on the volleyball page of our website as soon as possible.  

--The rest of the season - as a general rule (with MANY, MANY, MANY exceptions!!) the Freshman/Reserve team generally practices from 2:30-4, JV from 4-6, and Varsity 6-8 on days that there are no games.

Hello incoming Freshman and Welcome to STA Volleyball!

We will be hosting a night for incoming volleyball players on Tuesday, July 10th from 5-7pm at the STA gym.  This will be an opportunity to meet other students/players in your class and be introduced to STA volleyball and its philosophies, play some volleyball, and get information about the upcoming volleyball season. 

If you cannot make it to Freshman Night, don't worry, we will be sending out information about pre-season soon.  If you can make it, please let us know via email so we know how many to expect. 

What to wear/bring: 
-Kneepads (NO KNEE PADS=NO PLAY)
-Water/water bottle (IT WILL LIKELY BE HOT)
-Sneakers 

What to NOT wear/bring:
-No tank tops allowed
-No jewelry
-No gum

 If you or someone you know is not receiving emails but would like to, please register for volleyball on Family ID.
