Sophie Kenny is an STA alumnus from the class of 2015 and has been coaching swimming at St. Thomas since 2017. Sophie grew up swimming and this will be her 17th year in the swimming world, about 70% of her life. She loves coaching and using her knowledge from her time as a swimmer, combined with her nutrition studies at UNH to help the swimmers succeed. 

Beyond swimming, Sophie was a part of the rowing team for her 4 years as an undergraduate at the University of New Hampshire. She loves being active and has recently found enjoyment in long-distance running, completing her first marathon this past summer. She also loves going for walks and hikes with her dogs, Layla and Finley. 

Sophie currently is pursuing a Masters of Science in Nutritional Sciences and hopes to become a Registered Dietitian to continue to work with athletes and provide nutritional advice to increase their potential as athletes, as well as live healthy lifestyles.
