Girls Varsity Ice Hockey

Maria Hendrickson joined the St. Thomas Aquinas coaching staff as the Girl's Ice Hockey Assistant Coach for the 2021-2022 season. She brings over 6 years of coaching experience to the team. Maria attended Kingswood Regional High School in Wolfboro, NH, and graduated in 2015. With the assistance of the Athletic Director, during her junior year, she was the founder of the Varsity Kingswood Girl’s Ice Hockey team.

Since the age of 6, she has played on coed, and girls competitive travel leagues. As a Senior, she was selected to play on behalf of the New Hampshire Senior High School Girls All-Star Team to represent New Hampshire in the Make-A-Wish Foundation Event which takes place at the University of Vermont every June. She pursued hockey at the collegiate level, playing at Salve Regina University until a concussion ended her playing career in the middle of her Freshman year. However, she has since returned to the ice and actively plays in an adult coed league, and participates in tournaments throughout the year across New England. 

Along with coaching hockey, she is also the Assistant Coach for Epping High School’s Varsity Girl’s Soccer team.
