Aaron Bloom scores six minutes into the first overtime period off a pass from Miguel Diaz to give the Saints the win in their season opener against Kennett.  Gerardo Viana Torre put St. Thomas up 1-0 at 37:19 arching the ball into the net from the corner kick.  The Saints lead 1-0 at halftime but the Eagles came back in the second half scoring at 43:15 when Lukas Narducci took a through ball beating the St. Thomas Defense to tie the game at 1-1.  The Saints had a number of scoring opportunities hitting the post twice.  Ryan Lancaster let a strong midfield while Aidan Richard helped the defense stand strong. The Eagles keeper Jack Thompson made 8 saves to keep Kennett in the game and force overtime.  Freshman Will MacGregor made 5 saves for St. Thomas in his varsity debut to help earn the win.  St. Thomas will play at Oyster River on Wednesday 8/30 at 6:30pm.
