The St. Thomas Softball team dropped a tight decision 4-2 at Kennett. The Saints fell behind 4-0 and their offense only generated three hits scoring both runs in the fifth inning. Morgan Atwell reached on an error and advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt by Olivia Graziano then Sophie Nadeau singled and Annabel Kossakoski plated both runs with a base hit. Grace Moore added a pinch hit single in the 7th to bring the tieing run to the plate although St. Thomas could not get the runs in. Jillian Cortez pitched a complete game allowing 3 earned runs walked 3 hit a batter and struck out 5. Madison Harris had a great game catching. St. Thomas (3-2) plays at home Friday against Manchester West
