Biography:
Coach Jeff grew up in Upstate New York. He was a three-sport athlete at Hamilton Central High School, playing football, basketball and track. Jeff graduated in 1990 and continued his football career at Moravian College in Pennsylvania. After College, Jeff came to New Hampshire and began his career in law enforcement with the Exeter Police Department. In February of 2020 Jeff retired from Exeter and became an officer with the University of New Hampshire Police Department.
Jeff and his wife Krista celebrated their 23rd anniversary in the summer of 2020. Together they are raising their three sons in Lee, NH. Their eldest son is now a senior at St. Thomas Aquinas. Like many dad's, Jeff began his coaching career by teaching his son's football, basketball and baseball through the Oyster River Youth Association. He joined the coaching staff at St. Thomas Aquinas in 2017.

Biography:
Mr. Brown was a three year starter at Middlebury College at offensive tackle and was an All-New England and All-NESCAC player. After graduating in 2001, he began coaching at the college level. He had stints at Middlebury, Hamilton College and Utica College working primarily with offensive lineman. During his time at Utica, he was also the recruiting coordinator for the program. In 2006, Mr. Brown accepted the role of Head Football Coach and Assistant Athletic Director at St. Luke’s School in New Canaan, CT. While at St. Luke’s, he helped to build a program that went from 17 players to a championship level in 4 years. He also helped numerous student-athletes reach their goal of playing college athletics. He also was a varsity hockey and baseball coach during his time at St. Luke’s.
Biography:
Coach Ryan Lent graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1999, after which he attended Nichols College where he played football and rugby.
Ryan is an active sponsor and supporter of youth sports around the Seacoast. Including being an Assistant Coach for St. Thomas Aquinas for the last 2 years.
He currently owns and operates The Card Guys, a sportscard and memorabilia store in Portsmouth and lives in Rye, NH with his wife and children.

Coach McDonough has been an educator (teacher, coach, principal and superintendent) for his entire professional career. He has a BA from Suffolk, an MA from U. Maine at Orono, and a JD from Franklin Pierce. McDonough has coached football for over twenty years in NH, MA and ME for the Timberlane Owls, St. Sebastian Arrows, Hebron Academy Lumberjacks, Traip Academy Rangers, and most notably for thirteen years as the Head Coach for the Wells Warriors where his team’s won four Western Maine Championships and a Class B State Championship in 1997. He joined us in 2020 and is delighted to be with the St. Thomas Aquinas football program. He resides in Wells, Maine with his wife, Pam. Go Saints!

Biography:
Jeff joins the 2023 Saints Varsity Football Team as an Assistant Coach
under Coach McDonough. Jeff was raised in a high school football
household where his father was a high school teacher and football
coach for over 30 years. He played football from Pop Warner through
the college level and in 1986 served as an Assistant Coach for the
Winnacunnet Warriors in Hampton. He had the honor of assisting his
father in coaching the 1989 NH Shrine Team to victory over the
Vermont Shrine Team. After graduating from UNH in 1990, Jeff spent
his adult life serving the public as a career firefighter/paramedic until
his retirement from the Exeter Fire Department in 2018. Jeff now
serves his community as a part-time Assistant Fire Chief in his
hometown of Lee. He has two adult sons and lives with his long-time
partner Marie, as well as their two dogs Ellie and Bodie. Jeff enjoys
camping, hunting and fishing as well as traveling in his time off. He is
excited for the opportunity to work with the Saints staff in mentoring
and teaching the Saints on and off the field.
