Sabrina Rivers.


Head Coach

Biography:

Sabrina started a competitive soccer career at the age of 10 for Seacoast United Soccer Club (SUSC). She continued playing for the NPL (National Premier League) at SUSC until graduation from high school. In High school, she won Player of The Year in Division IV two years straight. Once as a junior, and again, as a senior. Sabrina also made 1st team All-State three out of her four years in high school. From these experiences, she then went on to play Division II soccer for Franklin Pierce University.


As a Freshman, at Franklin Pierce, Sabrina started and played a full 90 mins in 10 out of her 16 games. Junior year of college, she transferred to Southern New Hampshire University in order to be closer to home and continue her education. She graduated in May 2020 with a BA in General Special Education.


As for coaching, Sabrina started her career in 2018 as the Assistant Varsity Coach for the girls’ soccer team at Epping High School. That year, she assisted in bringing Epping to their first-ever girls’ soccer State Championship title. After this accomplishment, she went on to coach the Junior Developmental team at Seacoast United Soccer Club. She also assisted in coaching the U9 and U10 age group for Seacoast United at their Amsbury, MA location. Last fall, Sabrina
accepted a position as a Junior Varsity Head Coach for Oyster River High School, and she has aided in ID clinics at UNH.

She is beyond excited to continue her coaching career at St. Thomas Aquinas High School!

Katya Engalichev.


Assistant Coach

Biography:

Katya Engalichev is a recent graduate of Winthrop University in South Carolina, where she played club soccer and served as the organization’s president during her senior year. She majored in Biopsychology and Healthcare and is currently pursuing graduate studies in Public Health, volunteering as an EMT, and preparing to apply for future education in advanced practice nursing. Katya grew up playing soccer for Oyster River and then Portsmouth Christian Academy. Her objective in working with St. Thomas Aquinas is to nurture a team environment that is positive, supportive, and fun, while also helping to develop a highly competitive varsity program.
