Biography:
Annie Wade joins the women’s lacrosse program for the 2023 season and brings her positive attitude and zeal for the game. As an STA alumnus, she understands the effort it takes to balance academics and sports for the high school athlete, as she was a three-sport varsity athlete during all 4 years at STA.
She attended college at The Catholic University of America, in Washington DC. Where she graduated Magna cum laude with a dual major Bachelor of Arts Degree in History, and Digital Media and Communication Studies. She also earned a Marketing Strategy Certification from Cornell University.
Annie has been around the sport of Women’s Lacrosse since she was 6 years old. She played on Seacoast United club’s elite team for 10 years. In 2007 she was selected to represent the State of New Hampshire, playing on the NH All-State team, where her team won the All-State championship against the State of Virginia.
She has played in Lacrosse tournaments all across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states for club teams. At STA she was a four-year varsity starter and captain of the team her senior year. She won Defensive Lacrosse Player of the Year for STA in 2013 and Most Outstanding Midfielder in 2012. She was nominated for the Foster Dream Team for the 2013 and 2012 lacrosse seasons.
After living in Virginia for the past 3 years, she is excited to be back in NH and ready to coach the JV program at STA!
