Dennis Coffey.


Head Coach

Biography:

 

Coach Coffey began his head coach career with STA for the 2021 fall season. He retired in 2019 after working for the Department of Navy for 34 years. After retirement, he began volunteering his time as an assistant golf coach at STA for two seasons before being promoted to the Head Coach of the Golf Program. Coach Coffey loves to combine his joy of the game with a passion to create a learning environment that includes the teaching of the golf swing and the determination to continuously help develop student golfers. He and his wife Judy are parents of STA graduates Alison (‘13) and Colleen (‘15).  

Dan Limauro.


Assistant Coach

Biography:

STA Alum Coach Dan Limauro '05 has been a Class A PGA Golf Professional since 2010 and is currently a mathematics teacher at Saint Thomas Aquinas High School since 2021. While he was a student at STA, he was a 4-year letter winner in golf, where he competed in every varsity match from freshman year through senior year. While leading the team as a captain in his junior and senior years, he also qualified for the individual Tournament of Champions in both years.  Along with golf, he also played ice hockey during his junior and senior years. Following graduation, he attended Clemson University earning a degree in business with a specialization in Professional Golf Management. 

As a PGA Golf Professional, he has been teaching the game of golf and playing golf professionally for over 12 years.  Coach Limauro is excited to bring his passion for growing the game of golf to the Saint Thomas Aquinas golf program.  His wife Becky also graduated from Saint Thomas Aquinas in 2005. They reside in Berwick, Maine with their daughter Emily.
