Biography:
Maria Hendrickson joined the St. Thomas Aquinas coaching staff as the Girl's Ice Hockey Assistant Coach for the 2021-2022 season. She was a Co-Head Coach with Coach Al Olivira for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 seasons and starts the 2024-2025 season as the Head Coach of the Saint-Warrior-Waves.
Maria attended Kingswood Regional High School in Wolfboro, NH, and graduated in 2015. With the assistance of the Athletic Director, during her junior year, she was the founder of the Varsity Kingswood Girl’s Ice Hockey team.
Since the age of 6, she has played on coed, and girls competitive travel leagues. As a Senior, she was selected to play on behalf of the New Hampshire Senior High School Girls All-Star Team to represent New Hampshire in the Make-A-Wish Foundation Event which takes place at the University of Vermont every June. She pursued hockey at the collegiate level, playing at Salve Regina University until a concussion ended her playing career in the middle of her Freshman year. However, she has since returned to the ice and actively plays in an adult coed league, and participates in tournaments throughout the year across New England.
Along with coaching hockey, she is also the Assistant Coach for Epping High School’s Varsity Girl’s Soccer team.

Ryan Gionet.

Biography:
Ryan Gionet joined the St. Thomas Aquinas coaching staff for the girls ice hockey team for the 2023-2024 season. He Brings over 3 years of coaching experience to the team. He has spent the last 3 years coaching with the Maine Wild Hockey Club and the Seacoast Beacons camps. He graduated from Dover High School in 2022 and Played hockey for the Dover High School team.
He currently is attending Lakes Region Community College where he plans to graduate with a degree in fire science in spring of 2024. He currently coaches a 12u team in Maine and also referees in his free time. He has spent 3 years with a lot of different camps and teams working with goaltenders. His intended future career plans are to continue coaching and also become a full-time firefighter.
